Our room nr 5 , was comfortable , good beds to sleep in , and a beauyiful bathroom . You are in the middel of nowhere , so no restaurant near. We ate before we got there , at a restaurant in Cesantes . ( Regato , and wow the food was worth the detour) So we just had a small snack in the bar next door Trasnos And its so nice to have an easy start in the mornig , since you have done the steep hills from Redondela the day before .

My arrival time was very late but the staff very kindly waited and received me. I felt well looked after. The room was nice, the breakfast was great, the location was great, so the whole experience was great!

You can also sleep really well as it’s silent; and there’s no light coming as you can close theres something that totally block the light from outside. The breakfast was amazing with a lot of choice, from local food to international and lots of fruits. Staff was relaxed and polite.

Convento de San Benito is a restored convent, set in the pretty Galician fishing port of A Guarda. The spacious rooms all have a french balcony, a minibar and a safe.

Hotel Monumento is a lovely restored convent with so many historical pieces and artifacts. Our room was impeccably clean, with a super comfortable bed and very nice linens. The staff were so very kind and gracious- it was just a very very nice stay!
