The only thing to keep in mind is that since the Elephantine island is not connected by bridges, if you need to check out at night you should arrange the boat transfer in advance.

Kristina was profesional and the mister Imad from yakub bazar jewelry store was fantastic. Our waitter who served us in Nefertari restoran was also amazing. We had such a beautiful time in this hotel and we are definitely comming back here. Thank you for eveything.

The air-conditioned accommodation is 11 km from Nubian Museum. The accommodation provides luggage storage space, a concierge service and currency exchange for guests. The place is very nice, with kind and helpful staff. They offered hibiscus juice as welcome drinks and provided water throughout our stay. The owner Hafez was helpful and welcoming. Breakfast was delicious. The room was clean and design is modern and comfortable but with a Nubian style. It’s also fun to stay in the Nubian village and we got to see crocodile in people’s homes. There was also a nice restaurant next door that we ate for both nights so after all we had everything despite it’s remote location and we don’t regret staying there because Aswan’s city center also doesn’t have much for tourists.

Most astonishingly, the hotel manager couriered our iPad to us from Aswan all the way to Alexandria free of charge after we left it in the room upon check-out. Really a delightful stay and we will certainly return to this gem!

Super easy to go to the city by ferry boat, 10 Egyptian pounds, super cheap, working all day
