Car trip from Hurgada to Aswan continue 8 hours but its worth. The host was amazingly friendly, even inviting us to his nieces engagement party while we were there and we got to experience some authentic Nubian food! The location is great, much quieter than staying on the east bank but also just a short and very cheap ferry ride over to the hustle and bustle. The room was nice and clean with a bathroom, ceiling fan, heaps of cupboard space, supplied towels and a really comfy bed. Would definitely reccomend!

The apartment is composed of 1 bedroom, a fully equipped kitchenette, and 1 bathroom. A flat-screen TV is featured. The accommodation is non-smoking. The host was the best host we ever came across. He helped us with everything we needed, including transportation, entrance to the temple, food, a boat ride, and actually everything we needed help for whether big or small. He was very nice and made sure we are not in need of anything, with a smile. Also the apartment was great and clean and space was well utilized. It had everything we needed for a short stay, like water, juice, soap, instant coffee and tea. Also location wise it was very good, and close to the bus station, the hotel where the host works and can provide help when you need it, and the Abu Simbel temple itself. It’s about 20 minutes walk to the temple, but you also can take a tuktuk if you want.
