Well situated public transport is close, main attractions are easy to reach.

The property has mountain and city views, and is 300 metres from Staatsgalerie im Hohen Schloss. The guest house features family rooms as well as facilities for disabled guests. Excellent guesthouse owned and operated by a very kind German couple. They welcomed us very warmly. They offered great breakfast even if it was not on the reservation confirmation. The room was great, spotless, comfortable and warm. Great price also. Plus free parking. One might say too good to be true, but it was true! Thanks for this excellent stay.

The small Spa area with finish sauna, steam room, infrared cabine and relaxing area with castle view is available for all guests. Massages and Private SPA can be booked with an extra charge. The staff is very helpful, the breakfast buffet had a lot to choose from and the room was really clean. Also the location makes it very easy to visit all of the palaces in the area.

Built in 1853 and right on the picturesque Fürstenweg, a small path leading to Neuschwanstein Castle, Gutshof zum Schluxen enjoys a quiet location in the middle of fields with grazing cows and horses, and Queen Marie von Bayern stayed here with her sons Ludwig and Otto. Füssen and Reutte are only a 10-minute drive away.

Gutshof zum Schluxen also offers free parking, and free WiFi access. Everything excellent. Host is a kind man. We will come back again.

Awake each morning to stunning views of the mountains. There is furthermore an extensive garden and your children can be kept entertained at the play area. We loved the area to hike and see popular sights. Having a studio type room was perfect to fix simple meals when we wanted to. It was modern and very clean.

Swimming and water sports are possible at the Forggensee Lake, which is 8 minutes away on foot. The A7 motorway is 7 minutes away and provides access to Bavaria’s Romantic Road. Free parking is available at the Christine Hotel. Even though it was a short one, we loved our stay at Hotel Christine. Nice room, quiet, free parking on site, amazing breakfast and, above all, lovely people. It was a pleasure.
