The apartments feature a mix of Nordic and Mediterranean design. A dishwasher is also featured, as well as a coffee machine. It is really not easy to find such a clean, comfortable room in such a good location. Moreover, the employees are incredibly friendly and helpful. We came 3 girls. We stayed in a room with two separate rooms and two separate bathrooms. It was a very comfortable holiday. Each room comes with a flat-screen TV with satellite channels. You will find a coffee machine in the room. All rooms have a private bathroom fitted with a bath or shower. We booked the apartment for three nights. We panicked a little climbing the piss-stinking stairs (of the main house) but then a sparklingly clean wonderland of glittering kitsch was revealed. The beds were very comfortable, and it was an enormous amount of space for the price. The decor is simply [chef's kiss] for a stay on the Reeperbahn. The front door faces onto the main strip, and you can watch the parade of revelry go by directly under your nose, but when the dividing door between the living room and hallway is closed, the loudest Saturday party noise is completely gone. The bedroom and balcony face into a quiet courtyard. For ten euro a day, you can park in the garage under the house. The staff were easily reachable and very helpful. The city is totally walkable and everything was easy to reach on foot from here. We won't stay anywhere else in Hamburg!

Hotel Volkschule is 400 metres from Rauhes Haus Underground Train Station, and it is 4 km to Hamburg Train Station. It is a 5-minute drive to the A24 motorway, and free private parking is available at the hotel. Everything was good, we would definitely stay here again :)
