We loved staying in Smile Jungle Hostel, from the first minute to the last. Gonzalo is an amazing host and this was our favourite accommodation in Central America. You feel right at home because everything you could possibly need is available and Gonzalo is always so warm and positive. Bonus points for su madre and for showing us our first sloth! 😊 Gracias por todo!

Very nice property. Beach area was nice to sit and relax. We had everything we needed in our room. Pool was nice place to end our days and visit with others. Plenty of towels for pool or beach. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good everyday and so nice to have it brought to our sitting area.

Highly recommend it. Sylvio is a great host, and very attentive. The pool was ideal with our kids 5+9 years. Good to know that the restaurant is temporarily closed but will open again in a couple of months. This was no issue for us, as we enjoyed the communal kitchen very much!

We had a lovely time at Siquirres Mountain Lodge. Inge and her family were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The property and grounds are beautiful. It’s a few miles out of Siquirres but easy to get to by car, and only 10 mins away from the starting point for our white water rafting trip (with Exploradores - which we would also highly recommend! 😄). There is a nice local restaurant less than 5 mins walk down the road, where we ate on both nights. We also took Inge’s horses out for a guided ride which was a lovely experience with beautiful views over the hills to Turialba. All in all a wonderful couple of days - and we would recommend very highly. Thank you! 😄
