We spent four nights with him, taking advantage of the offer to enjoy not only breakfast but also delicious dinners on site. From here, we went on various excursions around Puerto Viejo de Sarapiqui. Adrian took over a former bamboo plantation and created instead a diverse plant life. So he has many animals (besides birds, there are sloths, squirrels, possums and farm animals) in his little paradise, so we didn't need to go on any other animal tours. Adrian likes to share his knowledge on wild live. The bungalows are quite new and contrary to some reviews we had warm water. The accomodation and the meals are definitely affordable. A stop at Adrian's is always worthwhile, not only at a stopover while passing through.

This "Guest House" is huge. A family of 4+ could easily move in here and live comfortably. The back decks are beautiful to just sit and watch the jungle. It is a little way down the road from the city, which means it is quiet and very laid back. I had both a breakfast and a dinner while at the guest house. Both were great portions with a lot of variety, tasty, and well worth the money. Unfortunately, my schedule and Wendy's schedule didn't align for her bird tour. There was lots of flora and fauna to explore. My personal sightings included Toucans and a Morpha butterfly. I'm willing to bet that there was a lot I missed that Wendy could have found and shared!

Modern apartment was comfortable and suitable for simple meal preparation. A small grocery store is approximately a block away and has basic items for snacks, or a light meal. The neighborhood is safe for walking. Uber was convenient to access restaurants or Britt coffee. One morning our hostess prepared an excellent breakfast for an additional charge. We loved the grounds and were very happy that we chose this accommodation rather than a standard hotel.
