From the moment you walk up to the main building you’re greeted by an incredible view overlooking the pool towards the hills and lush forest. All the buildings and decor are beautiful and it really feels like a peaceful getaway, and still within walking distance of Tayrona Park. The restaurant and bar were also great. We had breakfast and dinner here every day and the food and drinks were delicious. We loved every bit of our stay.

Simon Bolivar Airport is within an hour and a half drive from Finca Barlovento Maloka, Tayrona Park. Transportation to the airport can be arranged by the property upon request. Free parking is available. The location is puerly magical!! It offers sunsets like nowhere else in the area of Tayrona (the National Park does not have such beautiful sunsets). It has a fantastic surrounding nature. It has both the luxury confortable option (suites) and the spectacular options (cabana). The Maloka is a mix between confort and spectacular. Staff is lovely and very accomodating. We took a great yoga class with Haile at sunrise. We had drinks in the Sierra bar, and a parrot was naturally roaming around. We arrived late afternoon which meant our room was ready straight away. The hotel were helpful in advance letting us of the park entrance ticket booth closing time which meant we arrived before closing time (5pm). The hotel is beautiful, the views are fantastic and the sky was clear both nights we were there which meant we could stargaze from our terrace. It was super quiet and peaceful. Right by one of the main entrances to the park, easy to find and very easy to start our hike into the park early in the morning. They have a pingpong table and board games in the dining room which were fun to play in the evenings too. We will be back!
