First of all, I didn’t realize that Cruz Roja means Red Cross! So, not only you're staying and enjoying your trip, but you’re also helping others at the same time. Secondly, the staff there are amazing people—warm and welcoming. Even though I don’t speak Spanish and they don’t speak English, we were still able to connect and understand each other. The location was perfect for catching an early morning flight since it’s close to the airport. Although, the town itself is quite small. Room was super clean and comfortable. They have AC, wi-fi and provide a tasty breakfast. I would love to stay there again someday.

A lovely place to stay just outside of the bustle of the city with all the creature comforts like hot showers, comfy beds, and air conditioning. It's enough outside of the city that you can see stars at night and listen to the sounds of the jungle by the pool. However, it's a quick and easy bus ride right into the center, and it's near a lot of the jungle attractions like Reserva Omagua and Parque Mundo Amazonico. Plus, you couldn't ask for better more welcoming hosts!

You are picked up at the road and then walk 30 minutes to the hut. This means you really are in the middle of nature and far away from any noise (except for natural Djungle Sound ;-)). The hut is fully equipped with toilet/shower, a cooker, sink and drinking water. Diana prepares very tasty fresh food on request. All in all, we felt very comfortable and safe. I would recommend spending at least 2 nights there and enjoy nature and tranquillity!
