It is located in a quiet little square, close to all the points of interest in Providencia, a 10 min walk from the Los Leones metro station. The cleanliness is impeccable, there is a 24 hour reception desk, the gate is locked all the time giving a feeling of security. The apartment is spacious, with a comfortable bed, a friendly living room and a balcony overlooking the mountains. The staff and the manager Luciano are all professional, friendly and gave me support in everything I needed. If I return to santiago I will definitely make the same choice for accommodation.

The staff at Reception were friendly, efficient and helpful. Quick check-in and check-out. The Room Service was excellent, thank you. The Pullman is in a great location. Hector very friendly and helpful with bags etc. The Airport transfers arranged through the Pullman were very good - friendly and courteous drivers. Restaurant and bar staff were very good. Food very tasty.

The service and housekeeping was on point as you would expect from a Mandarin Oriental, bringing attention to every detail. The pool area transports you to a resort atmosphere, forgetting you are in the middle of the city. The restaurant Matsuri was phenomenal, we ate there on multiple occasion because we wanted to explore all that the menu could offer. A short ballet rendition of the Nutcracker was organized in the lobby around Christmas time which lifted everyone's spirit. Will come back whenever visiting Santiago.

We can provide parking upon request (extra cost), and shuttles can be arranged to the airport or bus terminal with our trusted taxi. Hostal Río Amazonas is 10 km from Arturo Merino Benitez Airport. This hostel was one of the best hostels we have stayed in and it is great for families. We are travelling with our 18 and 16 year old kids and the room had a queen and 3 singles. Plenty of room for our bags and had a private bathroom. The staff we extremely helpful, great breakfast and it felt very safe.
