There are restaurants around the corner and a little coffee shop where you can buy breakfast. The natural swimming pool in the sea is just across the street. Kevin and Lynn are excellent hosts, they are very friendly, helpful, speak good english and Kevin is probably the best guide you can get on Rapa Nui.

They offer an airport transfer and a delicious breakfast at no additional cost, even though these are not included in the booking.com offer. They recommend tour agencies, restaurants and other points of interest that are super reliable. They go as far as taking you to some places if you cannot afford other means of visiting. Don't overuse their kindness! As for the Hostal: the room is quite spacious, the bed is very comfortable, all spaces are spotless clean, especially the bathroom. The room is decorated with much taste. You can use the amazingly beautiful outside terraces with lots of flowers to relax. There is a common kitchen shared by all rooms, which is superbly equipped with everything necessary, even for cooking yourself, which you won't do, because the food offered in the restaurants is delicious. Even though there is no air con, the temperature in the room is pleasant with windows open. There are some chickens in the backyard and a lovely cat, that adores snacks. Overall the quality that you receive for the money paid is unbelievable, so look no further and book now!

Plus the shower is amazing, and the bed super comfortable. Furthermore, everyone was so nice and welcoming!Everyone we interacted with was always ensuring we were okay and that we had an smooth trip. For us, that’s what makes this hotel, and the experience so special! We don’t have all the names but especial thanks to Ingrid, and Bruno! Ingrid really went out of her to make everything especial (and the food super tasty) which we truly appreciate. We also scheduled a two day tour through the hotel, our Gina guide was awesome, and we had a great time with her. Ultimately, our trip in Rapa Nui was super relaxed and it was thanks to the organization and help of the staff here.

The property is well located 15min walk and cábañas are well equipped and very quiet .. we recommend this place and also the tour made by don Jorge !!! A really interesting guide and person!! An encyclopaedia alive !!

The Terrace is one of the strenght of the room : you can see the Moai Sunset right from the terrace , which is fantastic ! The room was clean, cozy, bog enough, elegant bathroom , A Big THANK YOU, Takarua Lodge! And that wonderful goodbye gift , how we love it !!!
