The hosts, Kevin and Lynn, are young and enthusiastic and very familiar with the cultural traditions of Rapa Nui, and special thanks to Kevin for taking us on a detailed tour of Ana Te Pahu and Ana Kakenga. I confirmed the tour project through direct communication with Kevin on the Internet, and I was very satisfied.

The staff, and in particular the day and night managers (both named Pablo) as well as the chef for breakfast are going to extra mile to help and support anything you might need during your stay. No breakfast offered. But it's easy to walk to the supermarket and buy things for breakfast. With the refrigerator, stove and all the pans, cutlery and plates you need, I made breakfast myself every morning. It was easy. If you don't want to do this, there are breakfast places within 10-15 minutes walk of the property.

We stayed 7 days in the Kona Koa lodge and loved the place. The bungalows are nicely designed, very comfy and the garden is beautiful. We enjoyed the breakfasts on the high table, the afternoon on the terrace and the clear stars at night. We did not mind it was outside of Hanga Road, rather the opposite. The recommended German guide was excellent. The Family tried to make everything possible. Highly recommended.

Benjamin is an incredible host, always going above and beyond for his guests! He also picked us up and dropped us off at the airport, both times giving us a welcome and farewell gift! He took us to the Kari Kari show with a discounted price. We didn't do the one day full tour but we were told it was great (7 stops, 55 CLP pp with lunch). The room was clean and big enough, the bed was comfortable although a bit small for us. The kitchen had all we needed, and it was clean. The hostel is less than 10 min walking from the main street where you can find everything you need

It's the perfect hotel. I came for solitude and relaxation, and Hare Uta is like a utopia. The resort itself is a beautiful botanical garden with most amazingly beautiful flowers. Room is clean. The staffs are considerate, even you can order sandwich for taking off. I tried different restaurants in town then found out they have the most exquisite food here. It's away from the town so quiet and relaxing. I enjoyed the company of the noisy chicken too. It's one of my favorite places on earth.
