From the moment I arrived, self checkin was so easy. The room was spotless, beautifully decorated, and very comfortable with all the amenities I needed. The location was perfect, close to key attractions but still peaceful and relaxing. The service throughout my stay was truly top notch. The view from the room was absolutely breathtaking — direct, uninterrupted sights of the Eiger and the surrounding valley, just like a postcard. The location is peaceful and perfectly placed, with a nearby bus stop and a footpath leading to the train station. The room was clean, spacious, and cozy, with a comfy bed, good pillows (better than most hotels), and all essentials like a coffee machine, kettle, hair dryer, and safe — although no minibar. A nice surprise was the welcome packet of mixed nuts in the room — one of the most delicious we’ve had! Breakfast had a good variety and tasted great, definitely better than some other hotels we stayed at. The dinner at the hotel restaurant was lovely too — we had fondue, and the staff made the experience even better by explaining everything kindly. All staff were super friendly and welcoming, especially Lena at the reception, who made us feel right at home. Also appreciated the lunch packets for early excursions and the clear, easy-to-follow check-in instructions.
