The house is in pristine condition and tastefully decorated. The room is the only room in the home that is rented. We were mostly unaware of the family's presence. The kitchen was available to make our own breakfast. Eggs, coffee, juice, milk, cereal, fruit, etc, were provided. The room had plenty of storage space, including a walk-in closet. The double sink in the bathroom was much appreciated. The shower was great. We didn't use the tub. We didn't make much use of the porch/balcony because of the cool weather, but it would have been great in warm weather. The location was perfect for us: Only 10 minutes to downtown Charlottetown and more or less in the center of the island. Would highly recommend.

We needed a base to travel all over Prince Edward Island and Cairns Motel at Summerside fit the bill. The safe, quiet environment and comfortable beds ensured restful nights and allowed us to resume our daily trips feeling refreshed. Our room was super clean! Facilities maintenance is first-rate. Convenient parking at our doorstep made loading and unloading easy. Great location and close to restaurants. Overall an excellent place at a very affordable rate! It truly feels like a little piece of Europe tucked away in Atlantic Canada. The hotel absolutely deserves the spotlight — everything was top-notch. We stayed in a family suite, and it was incredibly spacious, with spotless linens, comfy wide beds, a fully equipped kitchen — everything we needed and more. The location couldn’t be better — right in the heart of town. You can just step outside and enjoy peaceful walks along flower-lined streets. Parking was easy, and there’s even a lovely backyard to relax in. Breakfasts were delicious, and honestly, we didn’t expect this level of cleanliness and service. What a pleasant surprise.
