The bed was big and so comfortable! Very clean too. We never got to use the swimming pool but it looked amazing. The restaurant has fabulous room and the breakfast is to die for, so much choice and the desserts are unreal. The staff are amazing, everyone we met walking along greats you a big smile, the stay go out of their way to do everything for you from checking in to arranging the transfers into Paraty each day and evening. Tassiana was amazing for organising the boat cruise, which was unbelievable, she really couldn’t do enough for us. Going up and beyond and awaiting when we needed some urgent laundry taken care of she arrange this for us too and also arranging a really nice transfer for us to Ilha Grande. Thank you Tassiana for everything and all the other staff at Apple House.

There is no parking available. Pousada Marendaz checked all the boxes for me. It is located very close to the historic center and a short walk to/from the bus terminal. Breakfast in the courtyard was very nice. The room was comfortable and had good air conditioning. The staff were always helpful. I would like to particularly note Simone who answered my many questions(english) and helped me book tours. Thank you.
