The pool must have been the most satisfying part of this journey especially during winter time when the temperature of the air outside is low. That is not all - the hotel has quite big number of SPA amenities such as saunas, salt room, contrast showers, etc that make the experience even better. I will definitely come back when there is some snow outside and enjoy the surrounding nature looking from the pool.

Free shuttle service to the first station of the gondola, during the winter season. Against an extra charge, airport pick-up service is also available from Thessaloniki, Sofia and Plovdiv Airports. Sofia is 150 km away. Free on-site parking is provided at the Grand Royale Apartment Complex & Spa upon availability. We had an amazing travel! Very clean, very comfortable rooms.

The Perun Hotel enjoys a peaceful location next to the large city park on the edge of Sandanski. It offers fine Bulgarian cuisine.

Since we are vegetarians, we enjoyed a varied evening menu at the hotel restaurant, I recommend the pastas and salads. The portions are large and the prices are definitely good. The hotel has another luxury restaurant next door, the ''Leonardo''. If you have a fireplace in your room, don't miss having it lit by the hotel, it's an unforgettable experience of the smell of good wood and amazing warmth in the room - for those who come during the snow season.
