The only challenge was that the street was under construction, but that is obviously not under the control of the property owners.

The rooms are spacious and have a homely atmosphere. The windows make the rooms bright and attractive. Each room has a private bathroom. This was a gorgeous hotel with very kind staff and so many cute rooms - most incredible breakfast.

We collected the key at noon and went into the city using public transport by parking our car on the Park & Ride of Merksem. When we returned, we could park in front of their garage, as there was no guarantee there would be street parking available. The apartment is very roomy with nice & decent furniture. You got everything you would need. You could really spend days on end here. I would definitely recommend staying at B&B De Lelie!

It’s a nice green area with natural beauty, the owner Jan was very friendly and supportive. The house is very comfortable.

The property is non-smoking and is situated 400 metres from Cathedral of Our Lady. It is a self-catering apartment, with all kitchen facilities allowing plenty of options for creating a good meal at any time of day. We tended to eat out, and would recommend a local cafe, De Nieuwe Boterham at Plantinkaai 14 for a range of healthy breakfast options and more. There's a cosy and friendly bar/pub, Het Sooke at Hoogstraat 59, only a short walk away. There are plenty of restaurants, cafes and bars nearby and throughout the centre. The apartment is modern, bright and airy, with views towards the river. It is well situated, being a short stroll from the historic city centre, and a 20 minute walk from the station (metro available too). It's also close to the foot tunnel under the river.
