The house itself was generously equipped with breakfast provisions and wine. The beds were very comfortable and the whole ambience was very restful. The pool was a hit with the grandchildren, but the evenings were still cool enough for a cosy fird.

We loved our stay at Bungaree Station it was quite a remarkable place with lots of history and I wish we had stayed longer to soak it all in, the hosts were lovely each one making you feel most welcome, from the extra farm actviities for kids to parents getting some tips and info for things to do further along the holiday road trip it was all round fantastic. Generous portions and variety of options for breakfast was wonderful, we were late arrivals and my husband left his wallet behind and they got it back to us - nothing was too much of a hassle.

The host lent us a cutting board and some paper plates/ napkins to use at our picnic. The foods left for breakfast ( bacon, eggs, bread, butter, jam, cereal, milk) were very welcome! The location can’t be beat, it’s fully stocked with everything one would need and absolutely beautiful inside and out. The back patio looks over the Riesling Trail, a peaceful setting. Communication and value, excellent. We would return to St Helen’s Cottages in a heartbeat!!
