I booked The Serene House at the Kaiser Ridge Eco Stay. Has 2 massive beds and 1 bathroom. Suitable for people who travel light (not a lot of luggage-although you can leave your luggage in the car and just take essentials with you). I highly recommend this place for people who need to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city and decompress. The location forces you to slow down and unplug from the rest of the world. You can walk around the property. There are plenty of kms to cover if you want to go for a walk and wander around. The kitchen is well equipped and a surprise bonus is The Serene house has a juicer (I'm not sure about the other properties..). There's enough distance between each eco lodge that you feel like you're alone. If travelling alone best to arrive before sunset :)

This little known hotel is newly constructed/renovated. Our family room for 4 pax is modern and spotlessly clean. Good location. Price is very attractive. It's a hidden gem in Barossa Valley. They also provide discount vouchers for dining in the clubhouse, which we enjoyed. Minibar is stocked with complimentary milk, water, cookies, tea/coffee.

Wonderful welcoming details such as rugs on the sofa. Peter even made us pizza! So welcome after a long, cross day travelling. Loved it!and left making promises to come back ....

The cottage was absolutely wonderful, very charming. It was spotlessly clean & comfortable, with a good supply of kitchen items & some pantry staples. Lots of towels & soaps too. The location was an easy 5 minute walk to the main street & it had a huge garden with off street parking.
