The centre of Altmünster and the lake promenade are at 20min walking dostance ( the return journey is up the hill so it may take a bit more effort). Our host was very nice and waited for us with a couple of cold drinks wich cooled us down after a long drive in the heat ( over 30 degrees celsius)
