Our host, Alet, could not have been more welcoming or accommodating. He was very friendly and happy to answer our questions and queries. The isolated location was just what we were looking for. The safari tent was well kitted out and the supply of wood perfect for fuelling the braai and hot tub. Alet even gave us fresh dry wood when our pile got very soggy due to torrential rain!

It was self service but the kitchen was well equipped and the hosts provided extras like beer, wine and milk. The hosts were incredibly helpful and friendly. The location in a spacious quiet safe haven outside Stanford was ideal with an easy commute to Hermanus and views of the mountains.

From the time we arrived,we just loved our host's friendliness,the accomodation(Milk Shed) was superb,it was perfectly situated under this huge oak tree,which helped so much,because of the high humidity.We were trapped in this mountain serenity and it was exactly what we needed.

We had a wonderful stay at this charming farmhouse, nestled in amongst trees and uphill of a wooded river corridor. The space was very tranquil, with donkeys, sheep and chickens passing through at various times of the day. We also loved the continuous birdsong. The beds were comfortable and rooms a comfortable size. The hosts were exemplary and very helpful. Overall, we had a wonderful time.
