Debbie and Wayne are exceptional hosts. They really walked the extra mile to make us feel welcome and at home. The room was welcoming and beautiful. The linen, the toiletries and the patio outside are some of the really wonderful things you will experience here. There are a lot of extras to make you feel special. They even prepared a light dinner for us because we didn't feel like going out. We shared their story about their journey to Richmond and their lovely home renovated and decorated with lots and lots of hard work. I wish we could have stayed longer! Well done .

South Merino is luxurious - beautifully designed and decorated, with comfortable beds, a generous shower and great attention to detail. We were also lucky to have a dark night because the star gazing on the farm is amazing! Although close to the N1, is very quiet at South Merino guest farm and we slept very well. The farm is also very safe and secure. We chose the option of Karoo lamb pie and salad for supper - it was delicious and much appreciated after a long day on the road. We also ordered ham and cheese croissants as padkos and really enjoyed them. Our hostess, Anneke, also very kindly tracked down Karoo lamb for us to take home with us, for which we are extremely grateful. We will definitely be back.
