A lovely, vibrant, and gorgeous boutique hotel. The rooms were very clean, spacious, beautiful decor with wonderful quality linen and furniture! The pool was refreshing on a hot summers day, and was so inviting. The duty managers were very welcoming and helpful in booking activities for us in and around Hoedspruit. The hotel is very central, and is within close proximity to excellent restaurants, as well as many private game reserves with options of Morning and evening safaris of which the hotel will arrange and book on your behalf. There are also many other activities to do within and around Hoedspruit. Would definitely recommend, and can't wait for our return! Thank you Khiwane, and your lovely team. Lastly, our breakfast included in our stay at the Harvest House Restaraunt was divine! 10/10, with many options.

Nestled amidst the untamed beauty of nature, this lodge offers an unparalleled experience that transcends mere accommodation. The accommodation itself is a harmonious blend of rustic charm and modern comfort. We were lucky enough to see all the animals during our game drives. Our guide Thomas and Sean were so knowledgeable and always patient. I would highly recommend this lodge to anyone looking to experience the Big Five! Special mention to Kathlyn who was always available and made sure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable during our stay. The owners Jørgen and Lisbeth have done a fabulous job to allow us to experience this moment in the wild.

This was our favourite from all our accomodations we've stayed in South Africa and here's why: - Jenny & Ruan are amazing hosts that go above & beyond to make your stay memorable - Beautiful interior design of the lodge with a unique touch. They've done everything by themselves and I would immediately hire them as my interior architects :-) - Wonderful garden with great views of the Drakensberg mountains. Bushbabies might even stop by for a visit in the evening! - Possibility to do Safaris right around the corner (Ruan is also a trained guide) - Place to go for wine lovers, Ruan is also a professional in the wine field! - Breakfast is freshly prepared and delicious! We loved the fresh fruits and Musli as well as the delicious Omelettes. Also they prepared dinner just for the two of us and it was a very nice and romantic dinner!

Its the perfect place to make a short break if you are doing safari in Kruger. It has e restaurant with friendly staff and a very good kitchen. The rooms are quite big and the garden around the pool area is just stunning. There is also a three stories high lookout- perfect to enjoy your sundowner. I can really recommend this place

It is truly the most beautiful accommodation we have ever been to (and we are regular booking.com customers). The decor and style of the owner is sublime. Everything is perfect down to the last detail. The accommodation is equipped with everything you think you need. Super clean. A great chef who makes you a 5-star breakfast every morning. Very reasonable drink prices with the honest bar principle, write down what you used. The location is central and very safe. Wildlife in the backyard. Indeed, you never want to leave here. From the moment we arrived at this unique luxury boutique lodge we felt the warmth and sincerity in the hospitality of the owner and staff. We stayed in a very private and secluded unit with its own little dipping pool that gave us the feeling of complete serenity in an awe-inspiring riverside setting-- complete with a firefly show at night. Chef Lucky did not disappoint in any of the culinary presentations during our stay. Refreshing cocktails and excellent wine selection. Sunset drives on the property with frequent sightings of a variety of animals, even herds of cape buffalo, motor boat cruises on the dam, romantic private sunset picnics, relaxing and lounging with cool dips in the pools overlooking the dam with even a little crocodile sunning island-- these were just a few of the special touches. The main lodge is beautifully decorated with originality and attention to detail. We looked forward to the evening fireside dinners, with wonderful menu selections. Great place to just relax and commune with nature in the bush or if preferred, arrangements for Big 5 drives in Kruger were also available. Special credit goes to the young, energetic and charismatic owner/operator, Francis, for her vision in creating such an outstanding experience.

We spent 3 fantastic days. Very skilled staff and attentive to every detail to make the stay a memorable experience. Perfect suite with every comfort. Excellent food quality, the chef is very good and takes care of every guest requirement (some of the best meat in my life). There are many activities organized for every need, my 8 years old son can't wait to wake up in the morning, he learned how to fish and recognizing animals footprints in the reserve. Thanks to Janus and Njabulo for all the care.

The lodge is just amazing! The room is very comfortable and well decorated with attention at any detail. The staff is memorable, they prepared a dinner for the day we arrived served in the room, even though it was very late. I had a very special birthday, with a table setting with balloons and a kind card in addition to a cake served after the dinner. The food is outstanding, the chef deserves a 3 stars Michelin! The staff arranged all the Game Drivers, Kruger Day and Nature Drive (with a bottle of sparkling wine :) ) to us when we could learn a lot about wildlife. Having many animals in our backyards were speechless. To wait for our flight, they prepared a package with some snacks and water for us, so kind... I would like to thank so much for all the staff, specially Crystal, Melinda, Luis (the Chef), Rowen, John (who is not John :D), Jackie and Saskia. Team, YOU ROCK! I will certainly be back!
