We stayed at Lincoln Moon Guest House for 3 nights and made two trips to the Blyde River Canyon from here. We really loved the guesthouse and felt very comfortable. It has its own driveway with a secure gate and covered parking. There is a table with four chairs and a barbecue on the terrace. Inside there is a large living area with an open kitchen. The sofas are very comfortable and invite you to relax in the evening. There is also Netflix, which we really enjoyed. The kitchen is very well equipped with a fridge and freezer, cooking facilities, crockery and cutlery, pots and pans and a counter with chairs. There are also three bedrooms, all of which are decorated in a different color scheme and we liked them all very much. One of the bedrooms has direct access to a bathroom with a shower. Our bed was very comfortable and there are also bedside tables. There is a second bathroom which is accessed via the main room. The owner is also super friendly and very helpful! She also booked us a table in one of the best restaurants in Graskop. Overall, the guesthouse was clean, cozy and modern and The location was perfect to explore Blyde River Canyon.

We had intended to stay somewhere else near Graskop but changed to this property at the last minute...and we are so glad we did. The communication prior to arrival was excellent with online forms to fill out with passport details etc, and then we were provided with the super easy self check-in details (code for gate etc). We arrived on a beautiful sunny evening and were treated to a gorgeous sunset view from the B&B. We had 2 units, one for us and one for our adult children and both rooms were stunning. Super clean, modern and comfortable with some gorgeous touches such as a decanter of sherry, logs and matches for the fire, a hairdryer, mini fridge, tea and coffee with milk and bottles of water. Even back up power for loadshedding. It felt like the owners had thought of everything. Unfortunately we awoke the next day to find a big cloud had settled over Graskop and the rain wasn't going anywhere in a hurry. However, this didn't deter us and being Brits we are used to a bit of rain! We met the owner and some of her staff at breakfast, and WOW what a breakfast! It was like being in a 5 star hotel with so many choices, nice coffees, freshly made fruits and yoghurt, cooked food prepared to order, pastries etc. The food was delicious and so full of flavour. The owner told us that she also owns a restaurant and this clearly showed from the presentation and quality of the food. She was very friendly and gave us some ideas of where to go in the rain and also some general tips for travel around South Africa, along with some of the country's history which was really interesting. On her advice we went to the Graskop Lift which was so atmospheric in the mist and rain. We can imagine that it is a very different experience on a sunny day as you can probably see a long way, but there was something so mysterious and beautiful about the rainforest and waterfall in the inclement weather. We were really glad we took her advice.

The cottage is in a beautiful clearing where vervet monkeys play and you can hear the trickling of a stream. The hosts were really friendly and communicative, it was really easy to get the keys. We'd recommend as a sober between jo'burg and kruger or as a destination in itself.

Location was perfect and overall it's a decent hotel to stay in. The staff were friendly and welcoming, breakfast was good as well and freshly made. Free parking around the back of the hotel was always great.

The owners were so friendly and helpful. You can text them at any time. The breakfast was excellent. Also the lunch box that Erika gave us for the safari. Everything was perfect. A good location close to restaurants, a secure parking, a nice self-contained room with bathroom, kitchen and living room including Netflix. The bed has a heated mattress. Simply brilliant in cooler temperatures.

Friendly staff, spacious, comfortable rooms and awesome food. We had a wonderful stay. I was a bit concerned that the hotel is on a main road in town, but the town is quiet and peaceful. There is secure parking on the premises. A great hotel experience
