An amazing property on the outskirts of Calvinia in the hantam karoo. Spotlessly clean, beautiful white towels , and spacious. X2 bbq (braai) indoor and outdoor . Well equipped kitchen and great veranda (stoop) for relaxing , views of the hills and mountains , peaceful . Farm eggs were also provided which was a bonus. Karen was very friendly when checking in and there is a high level of security at the property. Great WiFi also

The accommodation was very comfortable and clean, in a quiet street with lovely views out across the surroundings at the back. Hendrina welcomed us and was very hospitable and accommodating. The self-catering unit had everything we needed for a comfortable overnight experience, including electric blankets on the bed, hot water and great water pressure in the shower, coffee, tea and fresh milk. We could park our vehicle right outside the unit and although we did not use the braai facilities, there is an amazing braai area and verandah with a table and seating. Highly recommended for anyone staying over in Calvinia.

Lovely seperate cottage , very clean with all facilities, also small kitchen and terrace. Very well situated, great breakfast and very Nice coffee shop for a small lunch. IWe will go defenitivily back.

Very nice and helpful owners! They organized me a shuttle from the West Cape and a mountainbike for the Nature Reserve! Well equipped rooms with kitchen to cook.Good breakfast. Very close location to the Nature Reserve, also not too far to town. Thank you! I will come back!

What a beautiful property. It was like I took a step back in time, but it had all the luxuries. The owners are lovely and very friendly. The self catering units are well sized and very quiet.

The owners went beyond expectations, and I got stuck without petrol, about 20 km outside Calvinia. I phoned the owners at 24::00 and told them I would not make it to the accommodation for the night. Francois did not hesitate to offer me assistance! Thank you very much! The accommodation was comfortable and very clean. Thank you yet again!

Got exactly what was advertised. Quiet, solitude, nature, no traffic. The drive was a great reminder to slow down and enjoy the beauty of nature.
