Walking into the Penn Wells Hotel is like stepping back in time....Beautifully maintained building with original fixtures. Breakfast was nice but the same each day....All staff extremely friendly and helpful.

The location was fantastic. A five minute walk to a lovely downtown with cafes, great restaurants and interesting shops. The motel had been completely refurbished and was fresh and very clean. The rooms had a cottage type ambience and were very comfortable. The motel was full when we were there but was very quiet. The indoor pool is fantastic. Big, deep and warm! I used it 5 times during a 2 night stay. There is great hiking and bicycling in the area which was what we there for. Don't miss the Pennsylvania Grand Canyon! Lovely walking the streets around the motel as well. A 10/10 stay.
