Alex and Miss Reed were without doubt the best thing about this property. From the moment we arrived and welcomed it was like being at home. Very clean, everything you could need and the breakfasts were outstanding. Once Alex found out we were on honeymoon, he moved us to another and bigger room. Every aspect of the Inn, setting, decor, amenities, service, and food, was first rate, befitting the property's history and reputation. We felt very welcome and cared for. The Williamsburg Inn is much better in every respect than it used to be despite the loss of the Regency Dining room as a daily venue for meals. Times change and the Inn has with them but the core values of elegance, comfort, and service remain.

Nice, spacious room. Helpful staff. Good breakfast (mostly carbs but that seemed to be a thing in the 10 states we visited). We had an inconvenience but that was solved. The pool was lovely. Free parking (a gem in the US, apparently).

Very clean, comfortable and quiet room. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a better than average hotel buffet, plenty of choice which changed every day. Ideal for the old town. Choice of walkable restaurants nearby.
