Everything was amazing! The place was excellent, I would like to come again next year! Wonderful stay! Very professional and clean! My stay was absolutely wonderful! Our stay here was exactly what we needed after long days on safari and hiking. The staff are so friendly and attentive, food is flavourful and wholesome and the location peaceful and private. The room was very spacious and with a large garden area around it too. We loved falling asleep to the sound of the flowing river.

My brother and I had perfect 2 days in Shamba Hostel. We were the only guest in the entire Hostel but breakfast and dinner were prepared with so much love and it was very tasty...thank you for these perfect dinners. Rooms were very clean with clean bathrooms on suite. No luxury at all, but everything there what you need. The host, his wife and the rest of the staff were very kind and friendly. They also took us for a short stroll through the nearby village. If I ever come to Arusha again, I will stay here. Thank you for an unforgettable stay.

I promised to come back because I was so happy with my last stay here. Now I had the opportunity to taste more of their delicious food and do some of the activities. All personally guided by the host Godwin and adjusted to my wishes. Stay close to nature is their motto: and that is exactly what it was. (Eco) friendly and heartwarming!

This is the perfect lodge to escape the usual bubble of Tanzania safari tourism. The lodge is run by the in partnership of the Watoto Foundation, which actively improves and improves the life of street children in Tanzania. - Food was good and prepared with love and care. - Breakfast was great, lot of fresh fruit, eggs to order and big portion - Dinner was served in multiple courses. All nice, daily changing menu - The lodge is run by solar energy so expect romantic lighting and a positive feeling of remoteness. My highlights were: - Coffee walk with local guide and women from the neighbouring village preparing coffee from green bean to roasting and brewing while singing Tanzania songs. - Reading, meditation and spending time in the Tea room with view on the picture perfect swamp… waiting for the hippo to come by. - Looking at the sky at night while sitting by the outside fireplace - Visit of the neighbouring National park

My brother and I had perfect 2 days in Shamba Hostel. We were the only guest in the entire Hostel but breakfast and dinner were prepared with so much love and it was very tasty...thank you for these perfect dinners.
