I highly recommend this hotel in Zanzibar! The hotel is located in a beautiful area, away from the city noise. The staff was very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The rooms are spacious and very clean, and the beds are very comfortable. Delicious breakfasts were served every morning, and in the evening, we could taste wonderful local and international dishes. We really liked the pool, which is located on the hotel grounds. You can rent kayaks and other water attractions on the hotel beach. We are very satisfied with our stay, and we will definitely return to this hotel in the future. I recommend it to anyone who is looking for a relaxing and beautiful place for vacation.

Amazing location, right on the beach. Large sea-facing room on 1st floor has the most spectacular terrace we’ve seen - around 30 m2 overlooking the beach, with water few meters from the hotel. Room and the terrace occupies entire front of the building, so guests enjoy total privacy.

Everything about Moyo was perfect! We are a family of 4, with 2 children ages 9 and 12. We spent 7 nights at Moyo for New Year's 2023/2024. We booked a 2 bedroom apartament. It is very cosy and comfortable and shows much of the local tradition. All the furniture and the setting is charming and you can find signs of the local style throughout the apartament, even a traditional style door converted to a living room table. The swimming pool and outdoor area are beautiful and very well taken care of. The pool was cleaned every day and so was the entire apartament, spotless every day. The biggest surprise was the breakfast, served every morning on the terrace. Pancakes and fresh fruit every morning, an absolute Dream. The location is right on the beach. A beautiful White Sandy beach also cleaned and combed every day. The tide is quite intense but that was not a problem since we had the pool also. And the scenery at low tide is beautiful. We Walked a lot up and down the beach and could not find a nicer place. We had lunch and dinner either on the beach at one of the 3 nearby restaurants or we ordered food at the apartament. They all served good food but our favourite was Mzuri, a local restaurant where we ordered food from. Sonia, our host was so helpful And nice about anything we needed and all the day trips and half day trips that they organized for us were perfect, with the help of the local manager, Dan. He even drove my husband to the market when we needed to buy snacks and water for ourselves. It really was the perfect place for our holiday and we couldn't have asked for more. Safety was never an issue, we left all our things in the apartament with the door always open and had no problems. Elizabeth from the massage shop was amazing as well. So thank you again Sonia for a great holiday! What a dream it was and how lucky we were to find your place! We highly recommed it if you are looking for a quiet vacation in the heart of the local community!

Excellent room service in the morning and evenings to make you feel comfortable. The property has two pools as well which was perfect to take an evening dip in. The parking was a bonus as well.

The location is great, very quiet beach and no beach boys :) Our room was amazing, very big, on the second floor with a nice sea view . Breakfast is delicious , with chapati ( a home made flat bread from Zanzibar) , nice pancakes , fruit, fresh coffee, eggs …staff really nice , I forgot something in the room during check out and my away back to collect the luggage the cleaner reminde me and gave me back :) They have beach towels , swimming pool, free parking…
