Our stay at Uvi House & Restaurant was an unforgettable experience. Nestled on a spectacular cliff at 1841 meters altitude, the views of the Usambara mountains were simply breathtaking. The eco-friendly and socially involved business concept of Uvi House made our stay even more special. Nothing beats the feeling of getting a free upgrade at a hotel. We had booked the budget double room and were upgraded to one of the bungalows, which was spacious, beautifully decorated with local materials, and had a private terrace offering stunning views. The room was clean, comfortable, and equipped with all necessary amenities. The staff at Uvi House were incredibly welcoming and attentive. Their passion for hospitality and the local culture was evident in every interaction. They provided excellent recommendations for activities and guided us through the stunning hiking paths of the Usambara mountains.
