The property was very comfortable with new and modern facilities. Our host Carol was truly exceptional - a great communicator (fluent English), full of helpful suggestions about how to pass our time there, she also introduced us to the Tea Master owner (our trip was partly tea / business related). He was also very generous with his time and expertise. The breakfasts we had there were delicious. Carol also suggested some great places to eat in neighbouring villages. We were sad to leave. She really made our stay special. Top marks.

Breakfasts were generous, varied and tasty. Our hostesses were friendly and very helpful in facilitating our sight seeing. One host speaks excellent English too. The location is picturesque and affords the opportunity for relaxing rural walks. The other guests also seemed to be having a good time, and were in the area for various reasons. While we got there fine by public transport+local taxi, it's probably best to have a car to stay at this B+B.

The two hosts were very nice and helpful, spoke English very well, helped us book taxi to Alishan and drove us to bus station. The food was also good, cooked by the host herself.

Sitting at an altitude of 1,300 metres, Alishan Tea Garden B&B offers a relaxing getaway in a memorable setting. The bed and breakfast is right next to Fenchihu Forest and overlooks Dadong Mountain.

This was by far the best stay we had in Taiwan. The view is magnificent and the surrounding tea farms and mountains are nice to explore. The terrace and the common spaces are great to slow down and enjoy the view. What makes this stay truly special is the kindness of the staff. They help with everything, driving us to dinner places and picking us up from the bus stop. You can really see that they care about the place and keep everything beautiful. You can also go to Alishan as a day trip so no need to stay within the national park.
