Baan Kirng Taiwan is a lovely small hotel in a great location in Khong Chian. We took the bus from Ubon Ratchathani to get here, and it was just a 5-minute walk from where the bus dropped us. Khun Pim was here to meet us, and she greeted us warmly. The hotel is on the newer side and it is elegantly designed and decorated. Such a feeling of peace. The room is not huge, but so well designed and furnished that we didn’t feel at all cramped or constrained. No breakfast is served here, but there are coffee shops nearby that open early, and 7-11 and Lotus’s are very close. The hotel lobby has coffee, tea and hot water any time of day. If you’re planning to visit Pha Taem National Park and you don’t have your own car or motorcycle, Khun Pum can arrange a taxi for you. We went to the park for the hike and ancient petroglyphs, and it was fantastic. Don’t miss the river walk and Wat Khong Chiang, positioned right at the confluence of the Khong (Mekong) and Mun rivers. Just a short walk from the hotel is Wat Tham Khuha Sawan, a beautiful wat with lovely gardens and the biggest gong in Thailand. This is a serene and special place to visit.

This felt like a magical place! The views from the hotel are beautiful and the gardens are meticulously kept and had nice swings and benches to relax and taking in the views. I really appreciated the tours you could organize via the hotel. Breakfast was awesome with lots of fresh fruit, I appreciated you could choose from different options so everyone in our family could chose something they liked. The hotel location is very convenient to visit the natural parks nearby and to enable onwards travel to Pakse, Laos. We also visited a gorgeous temple on the way to the border.

My first time to award a bingo of 10. Although in the whole is not over the top, it totally suits my needs. Good relaxation, interesting venue, comfortable room. Very friendly staff. Higly reccomended. If you like extra luxury places full of glitters and partying lige is not for you.

Its a family run business and the family is soo cool, very kind and helpful. They live next to the hotel and are available for anything. It is a big room with all the facilities you need. Price is very reasonable
