The house we were in was comfortable, clean, and well-equipped, perfect for a family with a dog. The surroundings were beautiful, with a stream flowing right by the accommodation. Very kind and hospitable hosts; excellent location - quiet, with beautiful countryside views all round, but still close to the capital; large living room (over 7m long), spacious bedrooms and bathroom; plenty of towels, bed linen etc; well-stocked kitchen-dining room. Local mini-mart and restaurants a short drive away. Being built on a hill, although this is a 2nd floor apartment (with balcony and excellent views) at the "front," entry into the apartment is at road / path level at the "back" making for easy access. Really enjoyed our stay.

This was our first time staying in a bee house – a place where your bed is directly over beehives and built in a way that even upon just opening the door you are wrapped tightly in the smell of honey and beeswax. The humming-buzzing of the bees make for a uniquely relaxing experience as you fall into what is likely one of the best nights of sleep you could enjoy. Andrej is not only one of the warmest hosts but also one of the most knowledgeable when it comes to apitherapy and Slovenian beekeeping tradition. This was the best way we could kickstart our first time visiting this nature-blessed country, and it guaranteed that this wouldn't be our last.
