First of all Erik is a wonderful host! The house is great. It feels warm and pleasant. Everything you need like a dishwasher and washing machine is there. Also supermarkets and other stores are close by. Also you can rent a nice motorized boat with Erik for the lake. We stayed two weeks and the children are already asking when we go there again. Enough room and things to do for the children. Thank you Erik.

In short, the house was amazing! It was clean, spacious, well maintained and all very new. The view at the back of the house is beautiful, all private and quiet. Nearby you have a large lake which is perfect for swimming. It was a bit of a gamble as we booked this place which had no reviews yet. But overall the house really exceeded our expectations and Radu, a super friendly host, really made something stunning from this place!

Our stay was fantastic albeit we were a bit unlucky with the weather. The super house we stayed in and especilly the very open, friendly, helpful hosts made our stay just perfect. the magical location and surroundings did the rest for us. By way of doing things with the family, there is almost nothing that cannot be done/experienced. there is animals, football pitches conicidentally nearby, moose wandering about (well, not quite - but hey we spotted one), the lake is in stumbling distance and very inviting (if only we had 5 degrees more), several playgrounds in walking distance, canoes, rowing boats, kayaks, bicyles, toys, stuff to play and -- as aforementioned - just genuinely friendly "hostpeople".

Cozy little house in calm place. Everything what you need for few days.

IKEA Hotell is 500 metres from Älmhult train and bus station. Decorated with IKEA furniture, it offers Swedish cuisine and en-suite rooms with a TV. WiFi and parking are free.

Great place to stay. We enjoyed one night at the ikea hotel where we visited the museum, had dinner at the hotel, and wandered around Amhult. All of this was amazing.

Bart is a friendly guy who takes great care of his place. Everything was clean and in order. The compost toilet might not be for everyone but was no problem using (and Bart's loft is a place in the countryside - if people need city comfort, a cabin in the wood is probably the wrong place anyway). The oven works well and fire wood is included in the price.

With garden views, First Camp Sjöstugan - Älmhult is situated in Älmhult and has a restaurant, a lift, bar, garden, outdoor fireplace and children's playground.

We got stranded in Almhult after our car broke down, so stayed one night and after a hectic day, this was a lovely spot to unwind a bit. As the garage was on the other end of town and there were no taxis available at all, the staff was extremely helpful and not only drove us back to the garage but also tried to find another suitable garage for us as the one we got stranded at was actually closed. Big thank you for helping us out!
