I hardly ever write reviews for the hotels I stay at, but Eagle View Lodge really stole my heart. The staff is incredibly friendly and went out of their way to make sure I had a great stay. I loved the decor—modern, but with a unique African touch. The hotel also has amazing views of the city. And I just LOVED my room: it was spacious, clean, had a huge bathtub, and a terrace overlooking the greenery on the mountainside. The sunrises from there were just beautiful. I also got a fantastic massage that was exactly what I needed after a long trip, and it was super affordable. Breakfasts were delicious and very filling. One night, the staff even came to my door to invite me down for dinner and to watch a traditional dance performance they were hosting to celebrate Rwanda’s Independence Day (all on the house—they didn’t let me pay for anything). This was my first time in Kigali, and it couldn’t have been better!

I had an absolutely wonderful stay! The house is in a quiet, peaceful neighborhood, the fourth house from the main asphalt road, and the location perfectly matched what was shown on Booking. Despite arriving late, I was warmly welcomed. The room was immaculate, the bathtub invitingly warm, and breakfast was a delightful surprise. Highly recommended for both solo travelers and families

We were a group of students travelling to placement in Rwanda, we stayed at KABA for one night. The rooms were lovely, well set out and comfortable. Bruce the host was very welcoming, he helped us organise transfers from the airport. James who cooked our breakfast was also very kind and the food was lovely! Overall I would definitively recommend KABA.

I enjoyed all my breakfast options and the view while eating was extraordinary. I still miss my Chapatis, tree tomatoes, African tea. To be honest, i ate the most fruit in my life during this trip. Everything meal exceeded my expectations.

The facilities in this location is amazing, the receptionist and all the staff are super welcoming. I would definitely come back whenever I am in Kigali. It's quite hard to find the place and the road is rough so you will need a good car.
