Hotels with Parking in Butare

This is one of my favorite hotels. It is so relaxing. And very friendly and helpful staff. A nice breakfast with fresh fruit in the morning looking at the nature. I love it.

Large and very interestingly designed apartment. Everything you need is there. Safe, even too safe. The owner is very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about local life. If I ever happen to visit Butare again, I will definitely stay here.

The staff were just wonderful - the owners worked so hard to make our trip special. My daughter's birthday was the day after we left but they made sure she felt special. This is a great place for families, solo travellers and those travelling for work. Highlights: exceptionally clean, a lovely breakfast, a characterful property and a great location for museum and bus station.

The service is excellent and the food is phenomenal. The hotel is rather simple but has everything you need and this high service level is hard to find in Rwanda. Staff speak good English and are very helpful. They packed our breakfast early so we could eat in the car.

One of my favorite places to stay during my trip to Africa. The atmosphere was just fabulous. Most relaxing and enjoyable leg of my trip. Francoise (the owner) greeted me at the gate as soon as I arrived and made me feel extremely welcome. She cooks amazing food seeing as she puts a bit of a French twist into it. Really made with love. The cabins were clean and cozy. I personally really enjoyed the more grounded showering method, as there is no running water (all the hot & cold water is provided in a very large thermos). Really encompassed more of the rural lifestyle of Rwanda. Francoise made me some tea in the evening and the staff lit a fire throughout the evening. The surrounding village was wonderful and playing some soccer with the children will be a lifelong memory for me. And when it came to check out, I paid a little extra and asked if she could do something special for the kids of the village. She ended up organizing a big dinner for many people of the village and fed them with. Couldn't recommend this place more. Amazing place and amazing people.
