The new staff from Sri Lanka was very kind and even accommodated my wish to sample some Sri Lankan dishes. Since I am a big fan of Asian cuisine and very rarely able to find genuine asian cooking in Romania, this was a very pleasant surprise. They were wonderful cooks.

This hotel far exceeded my expectation... the area it is in was a but disconcerting to start with as it is behind a row of shops but so easy to get to and only actually 3 0 4 hundred metres from Danube Promenade walk. Staff were exceptional. Room so modern, clean and well equipped. Bathroom particularly was large with a shower to die for! The breakfast in the top floor room was wonderful and again the service excellent, so friendly and efficient. The views from there were wonderful.. There is a larger hotel actually on banks of Danube close by but it is not a patch on the Condor..

Cozy and clean room in nice, peaceful surroundings, overlooking fileds, river and mountains. There was a kitchen with free coffee which was perfect for the morning. The hosts were really nice.
