Clean room, nice staff. Our room had a balcony with a very nice view of the sunset. We were even allowed to stay there for a couple of hours while we were waiting for our train. Would definitely come back .

I stayed at Barlogul B&B in Piatra Neamț, Romania, for three nights with my 15-year-old son, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. Our hosts, Eddie and Martina, personally arranged transport to collect us from the airport and bring us directly to the B&B. On arrival, we were warmly welcomed with a freshly prepared dinner and a tour of the property – a beautifully restored two-bedroom cottage that Eddie had rebuilt himself. The property features a wood-fired hot tub, which was preheated for our arrival, and a small bar area for drinks in the evening. The first morning, Eddie took us into Piatra Neamț for breakfast at a local restaurant, where we enjoyed Eggs Benedict at excellent value. He then organised a trip on the gondola to the top of the mountain, offering panoramic views over the city and surrounding peaks. Over the following days, we visited the Bicaz Dam for dinner, explored the local mountains, hiked scenic trails, and took a boat trip at Bicaz Lake. A highlight for my son was a quad biking trip arranged by Eddie, where we rode from the B&B up into the mountains and through forest trails – a truly memorable activity. Between the airport transfers, well-organised excursions, and the warm hospitality, this was a fantastic value-for-money stay. Eddie and Martina went out of their way to make sure everything ran smoothly, and their local knowledge made our trip even more enjoyable. I would highly recommend Barlogul B&B to anyone visiting the Piatra Neamț area, whether for relaxation, sightseeing, or outdoor activities.
