This is such a cute and adorable house! It was clean, cozy, and really authentic. You will be far away from people and cities, surrounded by the complete Romanian countryside magic. Around 22:00 we noticed that the gas for the stove was empty, so we just sent a message to the host. To our surprise, they arrived right away and replaced it with a new one. Never would have imagined such quick and kind help so late in the evening – truly amazing hospitality! Highly recommend this place if you want peace, nature, and genuine warmth from the hosts.

We recently spent two nights at RoVillage in the Apuseni Mountains and had a truly unforgettable experience. The location is remote and peaceful—perfect for anyone looking to disconnect and enjoy the beauty of nature. The traditional Romanian houses are beautifully restored and full of charm, offering both comfort and authenticity. One of the highlights of our stay was the connection to the land and local lifestyle. The hosts raise goats, cows, chickens, and pigs, and also tend to a lovely vegetable garden. Most of the food served is produced right there on the property, and it really shows—everything was incredibly fresh and absolutely delicious. Each meal felt like a celebration of local flavors and traditions. The hosts themselves were wonderful—warm, welcoming, and eager to share their way of life. Their hospitality made us feel right at home. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway surrounded by nature, tradition, and good food, we highly recommend RoVillage. We’re already looking forward to coming back!

We traveled on motorbikes, came in the evening, a bit harder to find but the owner Maria was wonderful, very helpful, took care of us as of a family, wonderful homemade breakfast, perfect homemade alcohol, nice village place, like I was again child at my grandma's home :) We would gladly come again.
