Pico is a beautiful island full of beautiful fresh nature and discovering the secrets of the fajas. The house is a two-story flooded fisherman's house above the ocean, a short distance from the coast, with an open window you feel like you are on a boat... everywhere there is a charming view of the water surface with the sunset. There is a possibility of swimming near the house. The rooms are clean and spacious, bright spacious and well-equipped kitchen, comfortable large beds and a modern bathroom with a good shower. There is good parking at the house. A car is a must, Mr. Marius helped us a lot with renting a car. We went all over the island and it is beautiful, mountain flowers and hydrangeas everywhere, excellent places for hiking and very tasty food in small restaurants, I highly recommend and at reasonable prices. The most expensive dishes are around 12-15.- euros, large plates of steaks or fresh seafood and fish. A surprise of local cheese and coffee was waiting for us at the house to welcome us. Very kind attention, thank you :-) I wish to come back again:-)

We absolutely loved our stay in this amazing spot! The location is incredible, right by the sea and so peaceful. Our host Diana was fantastic, easy to communicate with and she made some great recommendations. Her place was so comfortable and had everything we needed and more. As with most of the Azores a rental car is strongly recommended, not just for the remote location but also to make the most of your visit to the island. I would love to return and definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a lovely home in a traditional Azorean village by the sea!

I had an excellent stay in this apartment. It's incredibly well-equipped with everything you could possibly need, including a washing machine, a full-equipped kitchen, and two bathrooms. The bed was very comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. However, the absolute highlight has to be the stunning, magical view from bed of the ocean and Pico Island and Mount Pico. The hosts were also wonderful—so friendly and helpful. Their hospitality really made me feel at home.

Clean, quiet, air con, breakfast included, and for fair price...I absolutely do not understand why they are rated only 7,2. It is fantastic! Cant complain.

So we finished our vacation in the Azores and I had to write about this amazing place called Abrigo Cascata, which made us feel both at home, in a luxury resort, and in peace and quiet from another world. Anita and Silvie welcome everyone with warmth and great love, you immediately know you are in good hands, the rooms are large and luxurious with an amazing view of the sea and of course the beautiful Pico volcano that you can never stop looking at. We had both breakfast and dinner there and it was a great pleasure to be filled with the peace and tranquility that the place offers
