Absolutely Fabulous Flourishing Fairy-tale House in the middle of the fields, surrounded by the garden with jacuzzi, pool and barbecue house! There are even mountain bicycles to take ride! Birds in the morning are fantastic! Very nice breakfast with great coffee, big variety of tea, lots of fruits, gluten free products and many more. JUST FABULOUS!!! Many gratitude to the hosts!!

The cottage is very authentic and peaceful. The garden is beautiful and full of edible fruits and herbs. The view from the far end of the garden is something straight out of a fairytale : the view is a sight to behold and never forget. Be very careful if you have small children (which I don't) the garden has a gate to the far end so the way to the cliff is not open but make sure to keep in mind that beyond the gate there is +- 20 meter of beautiful garden but then comes a very deep cliff. Make sure to keep watch and be careful there because the cliff is 10 meter + deep and ends with sharp rocks. This offcourse is not criticism, the cliff is absolutely beautiful, I just want to make sure that visitors keep this in mind. The Azores are extremely beautiful and have a very wide variety of natural wonders to behold but do not understimate the cliffs and the ocean. What did I enjoy the most? That is a difficult question because there is so much to choose from. But to name a few : the couple that manages the cottage is extremely friendly and also very forgiving. I made a few dumb mistakes like losing the key on the first day, leaving the cottage an hour late on departure, usually both of these mistakes would have cost me some problems and money but the key situation was solved within 1 hour : The host came to bring a new key, was very friendly and just laughed about the fact I was able to lose a key so fast and then spent some time telling me interesting facts about the island and the local culture and recommended some nice places to visit, showed me how to recognise a ripe fig from the tree and I ate them every day from that point on and he did not charge any money for the lost key and even refused it when I offered it. This by the way is a common thing on the island which surprised me pleasantly : the people aren't moneygrabbing greedy money wolves, on the contrary : they are very modest and have great hospitality.

Staying at Grand Hotel Açores Atlântico has been an amazing experience. My best hotel stay ever. Amazingly kind and attentive staff, they all seemed to give their best to make sure that the guests have everything they need and enjoy their stay. The hotel has an amazing location, great view to the ocean, really nice rooms, good gym, nice pool and I also really liked the bar. The value for money is just excellent. Certainly not the cheapest accommodation in Ponta Delgada but taken all into account, it has exceeded my expectations. I would go back anytime, and will definitely do so the next time I am going to the Azores.

The location near the airport didn't bother us as we were out exploring the island all day. We loved to come back to our lovely, spotlessly cleaned, decorated with amicable taste apt. which smelled nice. Complimentary bottle of water was a nice touch each day. Kitchen had everything we needed and beyond including Nespresso machine. The apt. was quiet and had a patio overlooking the horses. Our son took a beginner lesson riding a horse which was a cherry on top! Still talks about his experience and already misses Biscuit. The pool and jacuzzi area are well maintained. The breakfast made of local products was very good. We enjoined our stay thanks to a very welcoming and attentive staff. Thank you!

Very comfortable room and the terrace we had was brilliant. In the room there was everything you need. Safe parking. Ocean just across the street. Possibility to order breakfast in the room.

The most beautiful views. Apartment was gorgeous. We have accessed the garden and pool from the decked terrace. Parking is on site. Tasty breakfast and the most helpful and friendly staff. Thank you!

The rooms was really nice and bed/pillows very comfortable, the bathroom was lovely with both, bath and shower and very well equiped. The garden and surroundings of the house are stunning, the room had sea views. Everything was taking care of with thoughtful detail and the breakfast was awesome. The stay was very quiet and pleasant, and reception can solve all questions and recommend good places to eat. Staying here you can live the essence of an azorian quinta. Near everything you would like to visit in San Miguel and free parking.

Over expectations, super nice location, excellent value for money. José was very helpful, recommended super places to eat. Daily cleaning is an unexpected extra, and the parking inside the facility is also a bonus.

One of a favorite properties so far in São Miguel. I loved that parking was included and the city center was nearby. The gardens were gorgeous and serene.

Relatively new apartment hotel with nice sea view. The apartment is well equipped and beds are comfy. Private parking lot for car. Smooth check-in at late hours!

This place was beautiful!!! We had a private patio, a little kitchenette and everything we needed. The room was very large and everything was very clean. There's an amazing rooftop patio to enjoy the sunset. Didn't swim in the pool, but looked clean and beautiful to sit beside. We liked that this place didn't have many rooms, keeping our stay quiet and private. Free parking and lots of room.
