The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Helena is lovely and very friendly. The location is only 7 min drive from Castelo Branco. The accommodation is in a great location, spotlessly clean and is a great sized room with a king size bed and large ensuite shower room and small but private balcony and is on the ground floor with only five steps to get to the room which was great as my husband has recently suffered a stroke and is partially paralysed. The hosts are fantastic and extremely helpful. They are local and very easy to contact if necessary. The accommodation is very safe with an outer security door plus a further 3 internal security doors to get to your room. Felt very safe and using keypad rather than keys was great.

Staying here was wonderful. Hills rolled out in front of us. Staff couldn't have been kinder, food was fresh and good, region perfect for days out. Near the mountains, winters feel gentle, summers invite a dip in the pool. Crystal clear skies—no light pollution to spoil them, ideal for watching the stars.

The owner was extremely friendly and receiving, our room was extremely clean with all new furniture and very efficient aircon. We also enjoyed the pool which was super refreshing after very warm day, I would not hesitate to return to this accommodation it is highly recommended when in CasteloBranco
