Wonderful location, very quiet, with beautiful surroundings. We enjoyed the private pool and all the facilities. We planned to do more things but we ended up staying in the location for longer, enjoying the pool and the place more time that we usually do in similar trips. The hosts were very kind and were always ready for any request.

New very clean house with several small rooms in which nothing is missing. Great view of the mountain landscape from the balcony. Nice landlady who can communicate in almost any language with a few friendly sentences. Great starting point for excursions and hikes, especially for those who appreciate places that are less crowded with tourists. Simple and nice places to stop for refreshments nearby. The breakfast was perfect (except for the coffee). We would love to come back.

Very easy to find the location. The owner and her family were very welcoming and friendly. The house is surrounded by a small patch of orange and lemon trees. We were allowed to pick as many as we wished. Can imagine how nice it would be to have a BBQ here. The house gets warm quickly after the fireplace is lit, the ventilation system is excellent and there is no smoke in the house. We loved that small skylight in the upstairs bedroom. When you lie in the dark on a rainy day, a small part of the wall becomes a sheet of light with water flowing through it. Wonderful experience. If you read until here. There's a big difference between the restaurants in town. Stay away from the Casa Capela, the food is not eatable in my opinion. Lurdes Capela is a much better one at approximately the same price.

It was the best accommodation in Portugal we had to stay. The owners of the property completely realize what the standards of a comfortable accomodation are. Super clean, perfectly equipped kitchen and every other room in the apartment. There was oil, sugar, tea, coffee and even some welcoming food in the fridge. If we didn't book the next accomodation on the route I'd stay at this place longer with great pleasure. The view from the balcony is wonderful. The hosts treated us with fresh buns every morning. The accomodation in reality is way better than photos on booking. Highly recommend this place for any type of tourists.

The owner was very friendly and attentive. The house was well-maintained, clean, and had a fantastic atmosphere. The owner provided all the information regarding the entrance, keys, and parking. Every day, she left fresh bread in the morning. I will definitely return for another visit. I highly recommend visiting this place. Not a usual tourist destination, we came across it and booked it by chance. It is a small house, only 15 or so rooms. Part of the rooms with the dramatic river views. There is a shared kitchenette and an outside picnic area. The room was quite small, very clean, freshly renovated. The staff was very friendly and welcoming.

The view! The fresh air of the mountain. Very pleasant and helpful staff. Definitely recommend. Near restaurants, shopping. Free parking was most welcome after a long drive.

The three level apartment was huge and fantastic, with multiple bedrooms and everything you could need. Private pool with a poolside cabana, kitchen and barbecue. Multiple balconies with sunset views of the national park. Private off street parking. Plus the owner, Bernadino, welcomed us and showed us around - such a friendly, knowledgeable guy and so helpful. One of the highlights of our month in Portugal. We would definitely rebook again.

Spectacular and peaceful location surrounded by nature and moutain views. It's so much more comfortable than the pictures suggest. Very helpful English speaking staff at checkin. Free secure parking. Delicious and plentiful selection at breakfast. Super room and comfortable mattress. Room was spotlessly clean. We will be back! Complimentary drinks in the lounging area.

Spectacular and peaceful central location right on the waterfront. Very helpful English speaking staff at checkin. Free secure parking. Delicious and plentiful selection at breakfast. Super comfortable memory foam mattress. Room with balcony was compact, spotlessly clean and lacked for nothing. Walking distance to watersports, tourist info and restaurants. We will be back!
