Virly and Javier were very accommodating hosts. We felt very welcome and they took the time to chat with us and explain the local culture and island life. We booked their hotel (gorgeous bamboo finishings throughout) while we were on the ferry and it was one of the best locations we stayed at during our 2-week trip in the Philippines. The only thing I'd indicate for improvement is that it was a little tricky to find - perhaps a signage before the dirt road to the resort would help travellers find their way to this little slice of paradise. Good luck to you both!

The location is quiet with beautiful beaches nearby within walking distance. The hosts were amazing going above and beyond with their generosity. They gave us bananas from the garden to take back to Cebu and a chilled jug of freshly prepared coconut juice😁They even baked us a chocolate cake! Phillipe collected us from the ferry (twice as our group arrived separately) and kindly detoured to the supermarket in SFC all for a very reasonable price while Judy organised a driver for us to get around the island and purchased fresh fish and vegetables for us to cook.

A truly spectacular apartment in a stunning location! The view looking out onto Tulang Diot is breathtaking and I would recommend this to everyone in a heartbeat. We had the most amazing time here and during a one-month-long trip around Asia, we both agreed this was our favourite spot! Our hosts were so lovely and arranged a pickup for us at the port on arrival and had great recommendations for things to do and places to eat in the area. Everything! The location, attentive service of owners and staff, the house is clean but homey with a million dollar view. There's room for improvement re ventilation in the kitchen area. An enhaust fan would resolve this issue. But over all, our stay was great and we will be back again!

The staff is so nice and helpful here. I only stayed for 1 night but I would have been happy to stay longer if I could. Breakfast was yummy too!

It met all my needs for my 3-week stay - a basic and clean room to sleep in after long days out!! No bugs in the room, toilet and bed sheets are clean. Not a fancy place as it’s a guesthouse - so as long you manage expectations and enjoy simple pleasures in life, you will enjoy the space. Sunsets are wonderful at the property! Nice area, occasionally there’s local music from some nearby houses. My budget room had no hot water, but that was fine by me as I spent most of the day out in the sun or diving. The owner, Mike, is a humble and friendly host. The staff are also super nice.
