Well located, typical houses from this region and rooms were very well furnished and comfortable. The host Claire was extremely kind and helpful. She handled all the tours with transportation and guide for us, prepared very good organic breakfasts every morning. We also asked for laundry service and she cleaned our clothes for the next day.

It is problably the best place to stay if you want to explore the Batad rice terraces and the waterfall. The view is stunning, you can enjoy your meal or brewed coffee while overlooking the whole place. Rooms are simple but clean and cosy with comfortable beds. The shared shower comes with warm water. It could be only problem for very demanding tourists but unless you are a snowflake you will be ok (the owners keep evrything clean all the time). Food is homemade and very good. Owners are heartwarming people that will always try to help you with anything you need. For the tour we used a guide we got recommended and it was worth it. It’s not that easy to navigate around the terrases and she was very knowledgeable, explaining us everything we wanted to know.

We had a nice welcoming stay at Frix during our bird watching visit to Mt Polis, Banaue and the rice terraces. We visited a few weeks after the typhoon and the community was very devastated by the impacts, as such Frix did not have power however they had a generator running in the morning and evening with wifi, gave us hot water to bathe and for coffee, an emergency light, extra blanket, and still served us a nice dinner one night which was better than the more expensive dinner we got in town! The family really did all they could to make our stay pleasant, we would stay here again and found the location ideal for accessing good bird watching areas. Also the parking was secure off the road which was a big plus and it was very quiet at night to sleep. Thank you Frix!

We had an amazing time at Banaue Evergreen Hostel. Everybody in the hostel is super nice and helpful. They organised our tours and we loved every moment. Because it was cold during the night we were given extra blankets and were able to shower and check out late after our trecking. The breakfast was tasteful and we also had some other meals there. I highly recommend it.

Perfect situaited location with a breathtakeable view. It is not in the middle of the ricefields. That makes it much easyier handeling the luggage ! all the way back to the road where the tryciycles wait to bring you to your next destination. I loved the hotel! It's made of wood and has a fantastic atmosphere. The restaurant has a beautiful view and it’s opening early so you can catch something to eat before going on trekking. Celine was super helpful, advised me what to see and answered all my questions. It's a wonderful place to relax in the midst of stunning nature. Just a heads up, it's not a place for those seeking a fancy experience, but perfect for people wanting to log off and escape from the city.

The location is amazing, after a 5min walk from the parking lot you come to a small, cozy hut with a breathtaking view! The food was home cooked and tasted amazing. Staff super super friendly!
