Me and my husband stayed 3 nights at Tullpa Rumy and we loved it. Jesus was such a great host! He helped us arrange taxi to explore Llanganuco and then also laguna 69. We got packed sandwishes for lunch. We had all the meals at the place and the food was amazing!! There was no problems at all for me as a vegeterian. Room was clean and beautiful, hot shower and a heater that warmed us during the nights.

Ricky has a dream to make a lovely, comfortable, friendly place to stay for travellers in Caraz-and he is doing a great job of it. Our balcony private double room was a good size, nice views over town, warm comfortable bed and good hot shower with pressure. Ricky is a terrific host, smiling, happy and wanting to ensure you have the best experience possible. He helped with taxis and tours and was always willing to chat or help with anything. This isn’t 5 star- it is authentic, local guy making a lovely hostel for guests to enjoy.

An amazing place to relax and unwind. Secure parking behind a locked gate for motorcycles and cars and a great place to base yourself to do the full days ride through the Huascaran Park and return to a home cooked meal and craft beer! The hosts are amazing! So kind and friendly. The location is on the edge of Caraz so quiet and the hotel is set in a beautiful working vegetable garden, with views up to the mountain. Beds were so comfy with real cotton thick crisp sheets and soft pillows …it is the best sleep we have had for the past 6 months. Warm showers and lovely soap/shampoo. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious, and we ate in the on-site restaurant which was “paddock to plate” dishes using veggies and fruit from the garden and locally sourced meats/produce… it was so good to eat healthy!

A good location for a stress-free holiday in Carhuaz, Casa Hospedaje"Los Capulies" is a guest house surrounded by views of the garden.

Very friendly and helpful staff. I was bitten by a dog one evening and the owner offered to drive me to the hospital that night (didn't end up doing that), but then he brought me to the local clinic in the morning and helped explain what happened since we didnt have much Spanish. Extremely grateful for that! Otherwise the place itself was nice too - comfy beds and a spacious room. Breakfast was decent in the morning too. They also allowed us to make a couple.of sandwiches in the evening to bring with us on a tour the following day since we were leaving very early.

Absolutely loved our stay! My friend and I felt just like we were at our parents' home—only without the usual barrage of questions and advice, just warm hospitality! Cozy space, super comfy beds, and the food was delicious (shoutout to lomo saltado!). The hosts are such a sweet couple who genuinely cared for us, they such good care of us, even getting up extra early to make breakfast before our departure. Highly recommend!
