- the hosts were very warm - in nature, we could hear the sound of the river - home made dinner - was exactly what we needed after having been travelling for a while - close to the town - there is a lama that likes to cuddle (and dogs too) - bedroom is really comfortable and decorated with taste - good breakfast

Rómulo and Helga were so helpful throughout my entire stay - they personally picked me up from the airport and dropped me to the bus station. Rómulo was especially helpful by leading me personally to the bus terminal where we realised it was the wrong one - he drove me and dropped me personally to the correct one! I would have been lost without him. They always checked on me and made sure my safety (being a solo traveller) was a top priority. They organised all transportation I needed for tours, and provide their own private tours at a competitive price. The property is located in a quiet area within walking distance of many lesser known Inca archaeological sites, notably the Temple of the Moon which is a 5 minute walk away! Rómulo brings all the guests here when they have a chance, and shares his extensive knowledge of Inca/Pre-Incan history. The area is great for hiking and a short walk (approx 15 mins) downhill to San Blas. The rooms are gorgeous, clean and comfortable, with hot bottles provided every night during the cold season. I would definitely recommend this place for first-time travellers to Peru and solo travellers who might be anxious - Rómulo and Helga will definitely put you at ease and make your stay an enjoyable and memorable one.

When we arrived with the taxi, we were directly welcomed. We intended to stay only one night then travel away from Cuzco. But my family loved it SO much that we stayed 3 more nights. Our apartment was so spacious, clean and beautifully cute. Calm surroundings and great view on Cuzco and the mountains around. The ladies preparing the breakfast are so attentive. The staff took good care or us during the entire stay and even arranged a late check out before our evening flight. The food was delicious. The breakfast area and the rooftop terrace are great locations to chill out and enjoy the view. I totally recommend

Arriving at Casa Augustina a little early and being able to leave my things on the rooftop terrace was amazing. I was also served a hot tea and sat for a minute in the sunshine overlooking Cusco. The next morning, I had freshly prepared breakfast and had a memorable experience chatting away with my host and the family who also recommended a walking route to see some 'non-touristy' spots and I actually found the best shopping up and around San Blas. If you're looking for a wonderful, local, authentic experience in Cusco, Casa Agustina is the place for you. I'll definitely return on my next visit.

First of all, they offered a transport from the airport which was very convenient. When it comes to the location, the hotel is located a bit away from the center but it's not an issue -20mins walk, 5mins by taxi and there are lots of local and good restaurants around, at the same time it's quiet. Both hotel and the room itself was very clean, the bed was so big and comfy, we loved it! But the best part is the owners - the nicest people, we felt taken care of each day. You can get a coca tea for free for the altitude, the breakfasts are prepared freshly and were so yummy! And when you're going for a trip early in the morning, they will provide you with a 'take-out box' with some fruits, snacks and water. If you have questions or needs, they will surely try to help. We would surely stay there again. PS. You need to wait a little bit for a hot water to come, but it's there! :)

We were sent a video to collect the keys from the key lock on arrival. Worked really easily. Great communication throughout. Apartment had everything we needed. Clean. Perfect location - very close to the centre but not in the tiny cobbled streets part. A water pipe burst while we were staying and the communication and quick response to this was all great.
