Michael is an excellent host, very professional, with good advice re restaurants and how to get to various sightseeing spots. The breakfasts were plentiful and well made. They did laundry for us and ordered taxis for us twice for a reasonable price. This is a guesthouse, not a formal hotel, so if you are looking for fancy, then this is not the place for you. What you will get is a comfortable bed, a warm room, lots of hot water available for showers, and a tea station where you can help yourself. We had some great conversations with Michael and really enjoyed our stay. We felt at home there.

Claudia’s cooking was equally remarkable—each meal was a masterpiece filled with love and flavor. And, of course, we can’t forget Tupac, their adorable and friendly llama. Hugging him was such a unique and heartwarming experience! The lodge is a perfect blend of comfort, charm, and cultural immersion. To top it off, Rodi is beginning to organize Inca Trail tours with a big focus on ensuring porters are treated with the utmost care and respect. From the moment we arrived at Sky Dome Peru, we were blown away by the hospitality, attention to detail, and the stunning setting. Every single experience we had here was memorable and felt truly special. On our first day, we enjoyed a beautiful picnic surrounded by breathtaking mountain views – the perfect welcome to the Sacred Valley. The next day, we took part in the Pachamanca Experience, where we learned about this traditional Andean cooking method and enjoyed the most delicious food, all prepared with such care and authenticity. On our final day, we joined the Maras, Moray & Alpaca Walk tour, which included visiting the fascinating salt mines, alpaca walk, tasting corn beer (chicha), and learning about traditional weaving techniques at a textile workshop. The day ended with a smooth and comfortable transfer to Cusco, arranged entirely by Sky Dome Peru.

We spent 3 weeks here on 3 separate stays and we loved it. The host Zuzan was super friendly and welcoming. The rooms were nice and clean. The breakfast was pretty decent as well. She let us leave our bags there while we went to the Amazon and Machu Picchu. No complaints with our stay here, it's great value.
