Saif is a wonderful, friendly host! This was our last night in Oman (sadly). Saif welcomed us with Omani coffee, dates and fruit, and we enjoyed discussions with him and learning about his culture. Our room was clean and comfortable. Saif's wife prepared us a delicious dinner and breakfast. The location is superb. We hiked in the mountains above Wakan and explored the Wadi Mistal area. Thank you Saif!

Wonderful guesthouse in a fantastic mind blowing environment. Ideal to disconnect from everything and do some trekking and walking. The homemade food is delicious and the staff even if the staff really care about you. It is cold during the nights due to the altitude so you need to factor this and bring extra layers especially if you come from straight from Muscat or the airport. The trekking routes from there are not easy . A lot of rocks and in the foggy weather is easy to get lost so be prepared. But if you have some trekking experience they are absolutely wonderful. Bring extra water and food with you.

Small authentic house on top of a cliff with a spectacular, awesome view, sunset/sunrise. Friendly and helpfull host. Maybe the walk to the house is a bit difficult but that makes it only more adventurous and once you reach it, you will forget that walk cos of the location.
