Very good location near to the city and near to the airport. Infinity Pool on the roof was great. Food was very tasty. Stuff amazing. Next time we will go to Movenpick again.

It is no exaggeration at all when I (and others on here) say this is the best hotel I have ever stayed at (and I’ve had the pleasure of staying at many lovely hotels around the world). Absolutely everything was perfect. Every single member of staff (a mix of Omanis and international staff from so many countries) was beyond efficient and so friendly. I felt they took even extra care of me as I was staying alone (Shukran!) and their care and attention to detail was second to none! I didn’t meet the manager Mr Karim but would like to thank and congratulate him on running such an exceptional hotel. Among the many wonderful staff who all work so hard, special mentions to Suresh who checked me in in the early hours, Renuka who cleaned my room so meticulously, Schola the restaurant hostess who was very informative and gave me the best table for the Christmas Day brunch! Khine also a restaurant hostess who was lovely to chat too on my final evening and so helpful too and Kolthum who checked me out, such a lovely lady. El-Mostafa in the restaurant, Khalid who picked me up at the airport (plus the driver who took me back there), the restaurant staff in all the restaurants, the wonderful chefs and the beach attendants. The Chedi’s design is amazing. Beautiful grounds (they even have peacocks!), so tranquil, so clean, many dining options and wonderfully designed rooms. I can see why it’s a Leading Hotel of the World and has so many awards and accolades. Thank you Chedi Muscat for an unforgettable Christmas holiday!

Another stunning, brand new Mandarin Oriental property! The design is breathtaking, blending traditional Omani patterns with a clean, elegant simplicity. The staff were warm, enthusiastic, and full of energy, though a few of our requests and one food order were mixed up — nothing major, and understandable for a hotel that only opened a year ago. Our room was spectacular: spacious, beautifully detailed, and impeccably maintained by the excellent housekeeping team. We opted for a city and mountain view, which we loved. The location is fantastic — right by the public beach promenade, in a district where many embassies are located and expats tend to live. We rented a car and really appreciated the secure basement parking, which kept the car cool and offered direct lift access to our suite. Overall, a luxurious and memorable stay, with just a few service hiccups that we’re confident will smooth out with time.

We had a wonderful stay at this villa. It is owned by a lovely family, Nazanin and Masoud, who were extremely kind and welcoming throughout our visit. The place truly feels like home: comfortable, peaceful, and very well-maintained. Our room was spacious and clean, and the price is very reasonable for what you get. The location is also very convenient, as it’s not too far from the city center and surrounded by everything you might need. The villa also has a large, well-equipped shared kitchen, perfect for anyone who enjoys cooking, as well as a shared laundry machine for guests to use. It’s worth noting that guests are responsible for their own cleaning, as there is no daily cleaning service provided. Overall, it’s a great place to stay, and we would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Oman.
